We call you back
Usually the same day. We ask a few questions so we know what to bring, and we agree on a time that works. If water is coming in right now, call (631) 546-6565 instead and we will treat it as an emergency.

We inspect the whole envelope
Not just the spot you called about. Roof, flashing, ventilation, siding, windows, gutters. We take photos so you can see the condition of your own house.

You get a written scope
Itemized: tear-off or repair, decking contingency, flashing, underlayment, ventilation, cleanup, disposal and permit. This is the document that makes two quotes comparable.
We will tell you if you do not need the work yet
That is not a sales line, it is how the inspection is built. A roof with five good years left is a roof with five good years left, and we would rather you call us in 2031 than sell you something today that you did not need. It is also why the report comes with photos: so you can see what we saw.
What we will ask you
- Roughly how old the roof, siding or windows are, if you know.
- Where the problem shows up inside the house, if it does.
- Whether you already have a quote from someone else. We are happy to walk through it with you line by line, including the lines we think are missing.
- Whether you are thinking about more than one job. Doing the roof, the siding and the windows together is usually less disruptive and easier to coordinate than three separate projects.
- Whether an insurance claim is involved, because how your policy pays changes the order we do things in.
Straight answers on cost
We will not quote you a number over the phone, because anyone who does is guessing. What we can tell you is what drives the number: the size of the roof in squares, how many layers come off, how much decking is rotten underneath, how many penetrations and valleys the roof has, and which system you choose. Financing is available if the timing is difficult. We will go through the options with you when we present the proposal, not before.
